Coronavirus, COVID 19 Update

As the situation develops, we are working to provide you will the most current information.  District leaders continue to follow the latest information and guidance available from the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education.

Adult Enrichment and Senior Programs are suspended from March 17-April 6.
We are in the process of contacting students and instructors for classes that are scheduled during these dates and we will connect with students and instructors at a later date for classes and activities scheduled after April 6. We continue to reinforce the importance of the following to prevent the spread of Coronavirus:
  • Frequent hand washing, https://youtu.be/qJG72sycQB8
  • Cover your nose and mouth when sneezing and coughing
  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Practice social distancing (not being in places where 20 or more people are gathered)
Due to the vulnerability of older adults to this virus and in an effort to slow the spread of the virus, Senior Program activities and classes at Lenox Community Center and all Adult Enrichment classes and activities are suspended from March 17-April 6; we will reassess in the coming weeks regarding classes and activities scheduled after April 6. You can follow our updates on the school district website, www.slpschools.org/coronavirus.
We appreciate your support as we take steps to help address the health and safety of our community.
