Afternoon Enrichment after Summer Learning Academy

Youth Enrichment Programs will have afternoon enrichment opportunities available for K-5 students who are registered for Summer Learning Academy at no cost. These offerings are different than the fee-based Summer Learning & Play camps listed above.

Information about Afternoon Enrichment will be sent to families whose students are registered for Summer Learning Academy in late April or Early May.

Enrollment in Afternoon Enrichment has a limited capacity based on staffing. Families will be sent a form asking them what weeks they would want their student enrolled in an afternoon enrichment class and to rate their student’s interest in different class themes (sports, art, STEM, etc). Students will then be placed into afternoon enrichment classes by YEP staff.

In early June, families will be notified of what afternoon enrichment classes their student is placed in or if they are on a waitlist. Families will then be asked to confirm if their student will be attending.

Please note that there is no transportation provided after Afternoon Enrichment. All students who are participating will need to be picked up at Peter Hobart at 4 pm.

Please contact Kelleen O’Brion at 952-928-6399 or obrion.kelleen@slpschools.org with any questions about Afternoon Enrichment.
