Aquatics
SLP Community Education Aquatics offers a range of programming for all ages! These programs include Swim Lessons for infants through adults, Lap Swim, Family Open Swim, Aquafins Synchronized Swimming, and Aqua Zumba Fitness class.
Our swim lessons follow the Red Cross Curriculum, which promotes water safety skills and develops swim technique and endurance as students progress. The goal is for students to master the skills of each level before progressing to the next. Students may take the same class multiple times to master those skills and ensure their safety in the water.
After each session, your teacher will communicate and provide an overview of what your student achieved during the session, aligned with the Red Cross curriculum, and indicate which level to enroll in for the next session.

For new participants, please review all class requirements closely before registering. If you have any questions about what level you should register your student for, please contact Cathy Taylor at taylor.catherine@slpschools.org or 952-928-6050.
