To become a St. Louis Park Public Schools Volunteer:
Please keep in mind that volunteers are generally defined as someone 18 years or older (parent or other) who is providing direct support to teachers, staff, admin, or a class within St. Louis Park Public Schools. If you are younger than 18 years old, or a St. Louis Park Public Schools employee, you are welcome to volunteer. Please reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator at 952.928.6444.
- Step 1: Click ‘Apply Here’ to complete a volunteer application.
- Step 2: The St. Louis Park Public Schools District Volunteer Coordinator processes the application, which includes a reference and background check.
- Step 3: An approval email is sent to applicant. Applicant is to review the handbook and orientation prior to volunteering at one of our sites.
- Step 4: Applicant works with their preferred site to get placed into a volunteer role.
Mission: The St. Louis Park Public Schools Volunteer Program bridges our community and school district by bringing our community’s talent, passion, service, and support to our sites and enriching the lives of our students, families, and staff. Volunteers are uniquely positioned to work directly with students and staff to help bridge opportunity and education gaps and allow students to thrive on a social, emotional, and academic level.
Location: The St. Louis Park Public Schools Volunteer Program is housed under St. Louis Park Community Education. Operations are located at Lenox Community Center.
