The award winning St. Louis Park Early Learning Preschool program offers flexible half day preschool options for children ages 33 months – 5 years old.

As part of the St. Louis Park Schools, the Early Learning Preschool program offers our city’s youngest learners a chance to learn with future elementary school classmates.
A typical preschool school day includes:
- Open play/choice time
- Large group time
- Small group guided instruction
- Art, music, and dramatic play
- Curriculum guided literacy, math, and science activities
- Gym and playground large motor time
- Snack
Children who are 4 years old by September 1, 2023 are eligible to be in a 4’s class.
Preschool Tuition Assistance 2023-2024
Tuition assistance for preschool is available. Reduced tuition rates are generated using an income eligibility chart based on annual family income. Submission of documents that provide proof of income are required to receive assistance.
