Immunization Requirements
Minnesota law requires all students in Early Childhood through Grade 12 to have up-to-date immunization records or a notarized exemption form on file. Your child cannot start Early Learning Preschool or ECFE classes without this documentation. If you have questions, please call us at 952-928-6774.

Preschool Tuition Assistance Tuition assistance for preschool is available for St. Louis Park residents. Families living in St. Louis Park may be eligible for tuition assistance based on household income. Eligibility for these benefits is determined by the Federal Poverty Level which is aligned to the Free and Reduced Price Meal (FRPM) income eligibility guidelines. Eligibility can also be established through direct, dated certification of federal or state assistance programs – for example, if a child is part of a household receiving SNAP, WIC, or TANF benefits. Click here to consult the Federal Poverty Level calculator. Pathways II and VPK (Voluntary PreK) scholarships are also available for qualifying families.
To apply, families must fill out a tuition assistance form and submit proof of income such as two recent paystubs, W-2 form, tax returns, or a dated income verification letter. For more information about applying for tuition assistance, contact Sarah Reuben at young.sarah@slpschools.org or 952.928.6785.
To calculate tuition assistance, first determine if your household income qualifies under the free or reduced-price lunch eligibility guidelines provided by the USDA. If your income falls within the eligible range, you may receive a discount on preschool tuition. The amount of the discount is then based on the number of days your child will attend preschool each week.
