The School Volunteer Program is suspended until further notice.
While the Volunteer Program is on pause due to Covid-19, please check out the online classes we currently offer. We keep adding new classes, so check back often!
We continue to follow Governor Walz’s Executive Orders as we update our programs consistent with state health guidelines and COVID-19 guidance from Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), and the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC).
We appreciate your support as we take steps to help address the health and safety of our community. You can follow District updates on the school district website, www.slpschools.org/coronavirus.
Nearly 200 community volunteers contributed over 5,100 hours to St. Louis Park Public Schools this school year! We truly appreciate their dedication and support of our students and staff, and the gift of their time and talents. To see where and how our volunteers served throughout district this year, check out the Volunteer Program Annual Report for 2019-20.
All community volunteers in St. Louis Park Public Schools are placed through the district’s Community Education department. There are assignments to fit a variety of interests and times. If you travel for work, vacation, or over the winter months, you can still volunteer! Click on the links below to see volunteer opportunities or to complete the online application form. All school volunteers are required to be familiar with School District Policies on Bullying Prohibition and Gender Inclusion. Please keep in mind that opportunities currently listed are subject to change due to uncertainties around Covid-19 restrictions.
