Driver’s Education with A+ Driving School
A+ Driving School is dedicated to training teens and adults to become safe and courteous drivers. We are experts in our field and instruct over 10,000 students each year. Our curriculum is constantly expanding with new ideas, updated methods, and the latest innovations. Our main philosophy is defensive driving and we put a key emphasis on safety. Driving is a serious task, it is the most dangerous thing we do everyday, but A+ Drivers Education is a fun and enjoyable learning experience! All our instructors are state licensed and BCA background checked. They have all been trained in our proven defensive driving curriculum.
Classes are offered in three (3) formats to allow the best learning environment for all students: Fully Online, ZOOM Teleconference, and In-Person. Our 30 hour curriculum is state approved and is fun and interactive!
Once a student completes the classroom portion and has registered for the Behind the Wheel lessons, when they are 15 they are eligible to take the written permit test. This is offered at any testing DMV location or our office in White Bear Lake.
A+ Driving School is proud to offer a fully online parent informational meeting. This is open to ANYONE at any stage of the licensing process. It is an enjoyable 90-minute meeting that will cover the following information and make your student the safest driver possible. Attending this class will meet the requirement to REDUCE the number of hours that students need to drive with a parent from 50, to 40 hours.
The Behind the Wheel stage of drivers education is the most important. Students will schedule their lesson online through our website. We suggest that students practice for 15-20 hours (1-2 months) before booking their first lesson. Then we suggest 1-2 months of practice between lessons. All lessons will be private (1-on-1) and will take place in a late-model A+ Driving School vehicle.
